Educational Workshops & School Screenings 2024 – 2025
The Athens International Children’s Film Festival is gearing up for the new school year, which promises to be more cinematic than ever! The School Program for the upcoming year is available for you to explore here, and starting in September, it will be ready for you to enjoy no matter where you are in the country.
Students from schools in Attica will have the opportunity to watch films on the big screen, while students from schools outside Attica can enjoy them online.
More films for all grade levels will be announced in the coming days.

“THE GAME OF CINEMA”
for Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Primary students
Specially designed interactive
Interactive games specifically designed to enhance the film screenings. Through the films we’ll watch and the games we’ll play together, we’ll explore the wonders of nature, discuss everyday life and family relationships, and embark on adventures that inspire us to face challenges with courage.

“PEACEFUL PATHS: A WORLD WITHOUT VIOLENCE”
for Middle and High School students (from 2nd Middle School)
A thematic program featuring short films where students explore filmmaking techniques and dive deeper into storytelling methods. Through discussions and hands-on activities, we address the topic of violence and explore ways to combat it, aiming to discover alternative approaches to resolving conflicts.
