Days of a Lilac Summer

The angry and introverted teenage Lito goes on a summer vacation with her long-absent, patronizing father. Despite his poor efforts to reconnect with her, Lito keeps to herself, unwilling to forgive him. In order to avoid him, Lito gradually gets closer with two older boys, resulting in a big fight with her father. Feeling lost, she decides to have sex for the first time, but ends up even more disoriented. She finally confronts him and is surprised by his supportive reaction. By the end of their vacation, Lito is ready to accept her father’s clumsy attempts to be present in her life.
