INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP
‘Overtaking the Gender Perspective’

With the occasion of two films from the program, we open the discussion about how the oppressive environment dictates stereotypical behaviors based on biological gender. The heroes and heroines of the films suffocate under gender stereotypes and social constraints they experience. We will also talk about how deeply rooted these are in our culture and how they often cause inequality and exclusion.

Through experiential techniques and sociometric activities, we will explore how we all can be ourselves and define our lives freely.

During the seminar, films produced in the United Kingdom will be screened.
