INTRODUCTION TO ANIMATION TECHNIQUE: ‘Bringing Paper to Life’

Michela Anedda, the director of the short film “Giù cun Giuali” (Italy), immerses children in the basic principles of creating animation using the cut-out technique.

Participants will engage with the fundamental aspects of creating an animated film, including scriptwriting, drawing on paper, cutting, editing, and sound design.

Michela will demonstrate how to set up a cinematic scene using this technique and provide participants with the opportunity to create and animate their own characters.
